Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Building Engineering Services team in our Lansing, MI office. To be considered, we ask that candidates are licensed engineers.

This role will oversee designer work, provide team technical leadership, perform quality reviews of design packages, and assist directly with the more complex portions of the design process. This position will also play an important role to resolve electrical project related issues,

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Michigan required.
• 12-15+ years electrical design experience for building systems.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) and IEEE standards.
• Proficient in Revit, AGI Lighting, SKM, EasyPower, ETAP.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Engineer of Record (EOR) with peer reviews and QAQC.
• Prepare work plans and man-hour budgets for approval.
• Ensure quality control/QA on all projects.
