Job summary

The Haskell Company is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in Jacksonville, FL to lead electrical design for multiple markets including healthcare, education, and aviation. You will supervise staff, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate with Project Managers to ensure timely project delivery.

Ideal candidates have a PE license, 8+ years of design experience, and proficiency with Revit. Strong communication and leadership abilities are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• 8+ years of electrical design experience; PE registration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design interior and exterior lighting, power distribution, grounding, and security.
• Document calculations ensuring code compliance and client requirements.
• Perform QA reviews of drawings, specs, and calculations.
• Coordinate with Project Managers to meet schedules and submit complete documents.
• Review RFIs, shop drawings, and product submittals.
• Provide coaching/mentoring for assigned staff.
