Job summary

Jobot is seeking a qualified electrical engineer to design building electrical systems in Sidney, NE. You will design power distribution, lighting, fire alarm and communications systems, and prepare calculations and construction documents.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, at least six years of design experience, and an EIT license; U.S. citizenship is required. PE and/or RCDD, as well as proficiency in Revit MEP and AutoCAD, are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and at least six years of relevant consulting or A/E design experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• EIT license is required; PE license and/or RCDD certification are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of building electrical systems and codes; ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for buildings including power distribution, lighting, fire alarms, and communications.
• Prepare calculations, specifications, and construction documents.
• Coordinate with clients and multidisciplinary project teams; review submittals and shop drawings.
• Ensure deliverables meet project requirements, codes, and design intent.
