Job summary

Sabre Systems, LLC seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer for the Battle Management System family to apply robust electrical engineering processes. The role involves hands-on fabrication, schematic capture, PCB layout, cable/harness design, and microprocessor work while collaborating with the H42 EE team to refine program intent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field with 8+ years of experience, including 3+ years in design and integration.
• Experience with electrical engineering analysis and test techniques.
• Proficiency with PCB design tools and creating cable drawings.
• Experience with weapon systems or command & control systems is a plus.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Design custom PCBs using ARM-based microcontrollers for BMS platforms.
• Design harnesses and cabling between circuit cards and interfaces.
• Create engineering documentation for Technical Design Packages with fabrication instructions.
• Assist with troubleshooting and startup of new circuit board designs.
• Collaborate with EE, ME, embedded software, and QA teams.
• Develop status reports and communicate progress and results.
