L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Sr. Specialist, Electrical Engineer to design and develop electrical systems for aircraft and ground stations. You will create wiring diagrams and panels using Capital Harness System, NX, and TeamCenter, while coordinating with Systems Engineering, Manufacturing and Production.

You will lead a small team of engineers, mentor junior staff, and ensure designs meet requirements at minimum cost. Willingness to travel and obtain a DoD clearance is expected.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree with six (6) years of experience designing and developing electrical systems for the integration of electronic equipment on military/commercial aircraft and ground systems.
• Graduate degree with four (4) years of experience designing and developing electrical systems for the integration of electronic equipment on military/commercial aircraft and ground systems.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of ten (10) years of experience designing and developing electrical systems for the integration of electronic equipment on military/commercial aircraft and ground systems.

Responsabilidades

• Designs can include development of Avionics Systems, RF, LAN, Data Processing, Sensor Systems, Power Distribution Systems, Electrical Loads analysis, Load shedding scheme to name a few.
• Lead a small team of electrical design engineers to implement electronic subsystems by breaking down requirements and work packages, providing drawing status, and budget estimates to platform leads.
• Create and review system wiring diagrams, circuit breaker panels, control panels and other items using PLM Software and CAD tools, such as Capital Harness, NX, and TeamCenter.
• Train and mentor junior engineers.
• Learn and become familiar with L3Harris Technical Process Specifications and related design practices and methodologies.
