Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Senior Associate, Electrical Engineer in Plano, TX. The role involves designing and developing electrical systems for aircraft and ground stations, creating wiring diagrams, control panels, and using CAD tools like Capital Harness or NX.

You will coordinate with Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production to meet requirements at minimum cost. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience, or a graduate degree with 0–2 years.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required with 2+ years of relevant experience; graduate degree with 0–2 years is also acceptable.
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.

Responsibilities

Create and review system wiring diagrams, circuit breaker panels, control panels and other items using CAD tools such as Capital Harness or NX.
Coordinate design activities with Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production to meet requirements at minimum cost.
Learn and become familiar with L3Harris Technical Process Specifications and related design practices.
Travel to and from flight line and work in aircraft hangar environments; some positions may require boarding aircraft.
