Job summary

Roboticsconnected in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to own a critical Cosmos subsystem from concept to deployment within our autonomous construction program. You will lead design across high and low voltage systems, embedded hardware, and power electronics, collaborating with a world-class team.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of engineering experience, strong fundamentals in circuit design, proficiency with Altium, and hands-on software skills in Python or C++.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Excellent first-principles understanding of analog and digital circuit design, analysis and simulation.
• Expert electrical design skills using Altium Designer.
• Experience designing or developing high voltage vehicle electrical systems including HV batteries, power electronics and HV safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Own hardware components and systems such as the high voltage system, low voltage system, custom HV batteries, embedded systems, PCB assemblies, and harnesses
• Full product lifecycle ownership from requirements collection, trade studies, preliminary and detailed design, development, and overseeing manufacturing, integration, testing, and customer delivery
• Work with manufacturing, mechanical, software, and product engineers to develop innovative new solutions to complex interdisciplinary problems
• Work with vendors and suppliers to find creative solutions to tight deadlines
• Set milestones, plan roadmaps, and deliver on ambitious timelines
• Recruit, mentor, and build a world-class engineering organization
