Job summary

DSJ Global is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for a packaging manufacturing site in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. You will oversee electrical design, maintenance, troubleshooting, and drive continuous improvement to ensure safe, efficient operations.

The role requires a bachelor's in EE with 5+ years (or AS with 10+ years), strong knowledge of industrial power systems, PLCs, and automated equipment, and authorization to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years or AS with 10+ years experience.
• Preferred 5+ years in heavy manufacturing or related industry.
• Working knowledge of industrial power systems, PLCs, and automated equipment.
• Strong analytical thinking and communication skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical portion of capital project planning.
• Provide technical support for motors, heaters, drives, and process equipment.
• Lead in design and modification of automated production equipment and electrical schematics and PLCs.
• Lead and support root cause analysis for electrical failures and recommend actions.
• Support plant electrical safety programs and reliability initiatives.
• Provide a safe, secure, and productive work environment on site.
• Develop short- and long-term plans for on-site equipment.
• Develop predictive and preventive maintenance programs and lead related capital projects.
