The role requires a bachelor's in EE with 5+ years (or AS with 10+ years), strong knowledge of industrial power systems, PLCs, and automated equipment, and authorization to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Preferred 5+ years in heavy manufacturing or related industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical portion of capital project planning.
• Provide technical support for motors, heaters, drives, and process equipment.
• Lead in design and modification of automated production equipment and electrical schematics and PLCs.
• Lead and support root cause analysis for electrical failures and recommend actions.
• Support plant electrical safety programs and reliability initiatives.
• Provide a safe, secure, and productive work environment on site.
• Develop short- and long-term plans for on-site equipment.
• Develop predictive and preventive maintenance programs and lead related capital projects.

An expanding Packaging company is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to support their site based in the Dallas Fort Worth area. This individual will be responsible for supporting safe and efficient operations of the facility and will oversee electrical design, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement in the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Manage electrical portion of capital project planning.
• Provide technical support for motors, heaters, drives, and process equipment used in the production of these materials.
• Lead in design and mortification of automated production equipment as well as electrical and hardware schematics and PLCs.
• Led and support root cause analysis for electrical failures & recommend correct actions.
• Support plant electrical safety programs and support electrical reliability initiatives.
• Provides a safe, secure, and productive work environment for our associates on site.
• Develop short- and long-term plans for on-site equipment.
• Develop predictive and preventative maintenance programs and lead capital projects as they relate to electrical infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering + 5 years or more of experience OR AS Electrical Engineering + 10+ years of experience.
• Preferred 5+ years in related industry or heavy manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of industrial power systems, PLCs, and automated equipment
• High-level of analytical thinking and communication skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
