Job summary

MLGW is seeking an Engineer 4 for Attachment Engineering and Services in Memphis to design and oversee attachment work on electric distribution, network, and streetlight systems. You will lead design efforts, review drawings, and ensure compliance with standards.

Responsibilities include project planning, permitting, budget input, field visits, and coordinating with engineers, customers, and contractors. Requires PE license in Tennessee, a B.S.

Qualifications

• Must have a PE license in Tennessee.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Minimum 6 years of experience designing electric distribution facilities or related systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and direct layout modifications to attachments on electric systems.
• Prepare, review, and approve site drawings, engineering designs, and calculations.
• Monitor permits, cost estimates, and agreements for projects.
• Conduct field visits and ensure compliance with standards and NESC guidelines.
