Job summary

Radiant Dev seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to join NSWC PHD's Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) Engineering Branch. You will lead design, development, programming, testing, and lifecycle support of test equipment and simulators for MK41/MK57 VLS programs, combining hands-on design with mentoring junior engineers.

Role requires US Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain Secret clearance, and up to 25% travel. Strong PCB design, ATE architecture, and LabVIEW/NI tool proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; MSEE preferred.
• 10+ years in electronics hardware and software design.
• In-depth knowledge of ATE architecture and measurement techniques.
• PCB design experience for signal integrity and power distribution.
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Design new ATE systems, simulators, and BIT equipment for MK41/MK57 VLS launchers and canisters.
• Develop or oversee control software with software teams for error-free operation.
• Supervise fabrication, assembly, and creation of technical data packages.
