Job summary

Ardurra Group, Inc. is seeking an Experienced Electrical Engineer (Architecture) to join our team in Cherry Hill, NJ and/or nearby locations.

The ideal candidate will lead electrical design for power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems on large commercial, industrial, educational and healthcare projects. This leadership role oversees complex projects, mentors junior engineers, manages schedules and budgets, and coordinates with architects and other engineers to ensure code compliance

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering required.
PE license required or ability to pursue one.
Strong communication and writing skills.
Experience leading large projects and mentoring staff.

Responsibilities

Support and lead the design and development of electrical systems for large-scale commercial, industrial, institutional, healthcare, and educational projects.
Apply design expertise in power distribution, grounding, lighting, control systems, fire alarms, and equipment selection/specification.
Act as Project Manager for electrical components of multi-discipline projects, including schedule, budget, client communication, and team coordination.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
Interface with architects, civil and MEP engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure design coordination and project success.
Oversee and ensure compliance with NEC, IBC, IECC, and NFPA.
Perform quality control reviews of electrical drawings and specifications.
Conduct field investigations and site visits as needed.
