Job summary

Arrive AI is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in Fishers, IN to lead electrical design for Arrive Points. You will own power management, actuator control, sensor integration, and IoT connectivity, collaborating with mechanical and robotics teams to build robust hardware and firmware.

You will develop firmware in C/C++ for STM32, work with multi-zone control schemes, design wiring harnesses, and ensure manufacturability. Travel up to 5 days per month is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in electrical engineering for product development (hard-tech, robotics, or IoT)
• Circuit & PCB design using Altium, KiCad, or Eagle; multi-layer boards
• Embedded firmware in C/C++ for microcontrollers, STM32 experience preferred
• Wiring harness design and clear harness documentation
• Motion control integration with motor drivers and servo/stepper systems
• Actuator design, integration, and control in complex systems
• Sensor selection and integration for smart products
• Domain knowledge in IoT, embedded systems, power management, and robotics

Responsibilities

• Design electrical circuits, schematics, PCB layouts, and wiring architectures
• Build custom control boards and breakout boards connecting microcontrollers, sensors, actuators, and power systems
• Develop embedded firmware in C/C++ for STM32 microcontrollers with real-time control loops
• Integrate motion controllers and motor drivers; connect to broader system
• Design and document wiring harnesses for manufacturability
• Integrate actuators, sensors, and controllers into Arrive Points architectures
• Validate designs using ECAD, SPICE simulations, and bench prototypes
• Prototype, test, and iterate circuit boards and subsystems for performance and safety
• Design power management and battery systems for low-power devices
• Support robotics interfaces and ensure hardware/firmware interoperability
• Troubleshoot hardware, firmware, and harness issues during bring-up and production
• Enable AI-driven hardware to support AI processors and data flows
