Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation in Plano, TX is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design, development, and testing of electrical/electronic systems for advanced aerospace and defense applications. You will drive innovation, provide technical direction, and ensure high-performance products are delivered on time and on spec.

Responsibilities include leading system design and circuit card assemblies where needed, mentoring junior engineers, collaborating with mechanical, systems, and test

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering.
• Expert proficiency in electrical/electronic design and validation techniques.
• Experience with EWIS, FMEA and SSA concepts.
• Ability to travel to Dayton, OH to support Instrumentation efforts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the design and development of electrical/electronic systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead design reviews.
• Perform testing, validation and debugging of circuits.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integration.
• Maintain, document and control calibration and verification standards.
