Qualifikationen

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years or MS with 3+ years in electrical system and circuit board design
• Strong ability to work cross-functionally and drive decisions to closure
• Demonstrated ability to design a PCBA from blank sheet to production
• Understanding of analog and power circuits (MOSFETs, op-amps, switching regulators, gate drivers)
• Experience designing PCBAs to avoid EMI and optimize power distribution and signal integrity
• Experience with high-speed PCBs and component selection with tolerances and dissipation considerations
• Experience shipping high-volume electronics products
• Experience designing for mission-critical systems with fail-safe/redundant designs
• Experience architecting designs to meet functional safety requirements

Aufgaben

• Lead microcontroller, sensing and control board development from conception to production
• Develop electrical system requirements and complete electrical system designs
• Perform schematic capture in Altium Designer
• Oversee detailed design layout and validation
• Use simulations and tests to verify designs meet requirements
• Design power supply, communication, sensing and measurement circuits
• Collaborate with mechanical, systems and safety engineers to optimize vehicle performance
• Develop and execute engineering validation plans and document analyses (WCCA, DFMEA)
