Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in Torrance, CA to design, analyze, and lead electrical systems for aerospace/defense projects. You will mentor junior engineers and collaborate across teams on DO-160 and EMI analyses, from concept through PDR, supporting PCB layouts and BOM generation.

The role requires a strong background in power electronics and circuit design, with DOORS NG/ELM experience and a U.S. Person status for export compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field.
• 10+ years of electrical engineering experience; 12+ years preferred in circuit design, integration, testing, and analysis.
• Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS NG and ELM.
• Strong background in circuit design, simulation, troubleshooting, power electronics, EMI filtering, and electrical analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems, circuits, and components for advanced engineering applications.
• Perform electrical, power, filter, and EMI analysis, including DO-160 lightning and filter design activities.
• Lead electrical engineering projects from concept through completion, including PDR development and presentations.
• Create schematic designs, support PCB layouts, generate BOMs, and troubleshoot electrical hardware issues.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
