Job summary

Power Device Corporation is seeking a hardware engineer to design, develop, document, test, and support digital electronic hardware for aerospace and defense products. You will develop schematics, support PCB layout, and bring-up, while ensuring performance, reliability, and test readiness for critical missions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical/Computer Engineering and 3+ years of hardware/digital design experience, with on-site work in Poway, CA. Master’s degree is a plus and U.S.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hardware or digital design experience.
• Master’s degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop hardware designs that meet performance, reliability, cost, and schedule goals.
• Create schematics, design documentation, interface definitions, and analyses.
• Collaborate with PCB designers on placement, routing, and impedance requirements.
• Perform board bring-up, integration, troubleshooting, and verification.
• Evaluate components and technologies for new and existing designs.
• Investigate hardware defects and support root-cause and corrective actions.
