Job summary

Jobot in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design, development, integration and validation of electrical systems for aerospace platforms.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Electrical Engineering (MS preferred), 8+ years in aerospace or defense, and strong knowledge of power electronics, analog/digital circuits, and industry standards. Proficiency with Altium, OrCAD, Mentor Graphics, and MATLAB/Simulink is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably within the aerospace or defense industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical system design, power electronics, analog and digital circuits.
• Experience with aerospace electrical standards, safety-critical systems, and certification processes.
• Proficiency with electrical design and analysis tools (Altium, OrCAD, Mentor Graphics, MATLAB/Simulink).
