$120,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr

Job Overview:

Our client is a fast-growing robotics startup developing patented humanoid arm technology. They are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the hardware and embedded design of our humanoid robotics.

This position reports directly to the executive team and offers full ownership of the electrical engineering department. You will work closely with the mechanical, software, and executive teams and be a key contributor during customer demos.

Responsibilities:

• Lead PCB and hardware design for robotics and sensor systems
• Design and develop embedded firmware in C/C++
• Integrate IoT and sensor data acquisition systems
• Design and debug control systems for humanoid motion
• Collaborate across engineering disciplines for system integration
• Participate in hands-on demos and customer engagements
• Define and grow the electrical engineering team as the company scales

Qualifications for the role:

• 5–10 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in robotics or embedded systems
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field
• Proven experience in electrical engineering with a focus on hardware design
• Proficiency in C/C++
• Experience with humanoid robotics
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex problems effectively.
• Compensation: $120,000–$160,000 based on experience
• Equity: Up to 1%
