Job description

Overview:

Our client is an established consulting engineering firm currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their growing team in the Seattle market.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting and lighting controls, emergency power, UPS, and renewable energy systems
• Assist in meetings with owners, clients, or architects as needed
• Review contractor submittals to ensure conformance with contract documents
• Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform tasks
• Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements
• Identify and resolve conflicts as they arise
• Create and maintain customer relationships

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in consulting engineering
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
• P.E. or E.I.T. certification
• Experience in MEP Design
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT software
