NSI requires a Senior Electrical Engineer to support PMA 266 Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) Adversary Fleet Support Team (FST) supporting the F-5N aircraft and engines (J-85). The Senior Aircraft Electrical Engineer will develop detailed solutions for technical, operational, and maintenance problems, including assisting maintenance in troubleshooting and repairing aircraft control systems, hydraulic systems, fuel systems, and pressurization systems. This position may include repair and troubleshooting of aircraft engines. The engineer will review current technical maintenance manuals for accuracy and submit 'red-line' changes to correct publication deficiencies. Responsibilities include presenting to management or team, ensuring repairs comply with naval aviation maintenance policies, performing investigations of failed aircraft components, providing disposition for obsolete parts, and conducting failure mode effects and criticality analyses. The role involves reviewing drawings and blueprints, estimating materials and repair times, and applying engineering principles to projects within the electrical discipline. Limited travel may be required. This is a hybrid (remote and on-site) position at FRCSE.
Jacksonville, FL
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience supporting all electrical aspects of an end product, preferably aircraft.
Secret Clearance is required. Must be a U.S. citizen.
