Rockwell Sterling is representing a global leader in sustainable infrastructure to identify an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in water/wastewater and industrial facility design.

This is a unique opportunity to join a firm at the forefront of delivering innovative engineering and consultancy solutions that address some of the world’s most complex challenges.

Role Accountabilities:

• Act as the lead electrical engineering representative across major W/WW facility projects
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to plan, design, and deliver utility-scale solutions
• Support the development of proposals and scope for new and existing infrastructure clients
• Execute electrical system design including power distribution, lighting, motor controls, and communications systems
• Lead coordination efforts with civil, structural, mechanical, HVAC, I&C/SCADA, and architectural teams
• Develop single-line diagrams, schematics, load calculations, and specifications
• Conduct field inspections and support construction oversight
• Review submittals, respond to RFIs, and ensure compliance with safety and design standards
• Work with tools such as Revit, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks, and SKM or ETAP for analysis
• Perform photometric studies and arc flash analyses
• Ensure compliance with NEC and related codes

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 10+ years of consulting experience in W/WW and/or industrial facility design
• U.S. Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Proficiency in AutoCAD MEP, Revit, SKM/ETAP, and power system studies
• Experience with SEL, GE Multilin, or similar relays
• Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC)
• Demonstrated ability to mentor junior engineers

Preferred:

• Familiarity with Bluebeam and BIM360
