Job summary

MEP Building Systems in Boston/MetroWest is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead building systems design for commercial, municipal, healthcare, industrial, and institutional facilities. You will drive project delivery with a focus on technical excellence and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

The ideal candidate is a licensed PE with BS in Electrical Engineering and eight or more years of building systems experience.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and engineering tools
• Strong knowledge of codes, standards, and energy efficiency principles

Responsibilities

• Lead power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low voltage design for multiple project types
• Prepare load calculations, equipment sizing, single-line diagrams, and detailed drawings
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and project teams
• Perform construction administration including site visits and technical reviews
• Conduct QA/QC to maintain technical excellence
• Mentor junior engineers and guide technical decisions
• Interact with clients and present engineering solutions

A growing A/E firm with deep regional reach is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead building systems design for projects across New England.

This role is built for a licensed PE who wants technical leadership, variety in project types, and a collaborative culture focused on professional growth. What you will lead
