Job summary

Vitruvian Consulting in the Boston/MetroWest area is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead building systems design for projects across New England. This role focuses on electrical system design for diverse facilities and active participation throughout project delivery.

We require a licensed PE with 8+ years of experience, proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• This role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering and a PE license.
• Eight or more years of electrical building systems design experience.
• Proficiency with codes, standards, and energy efficiency principles.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver electrical systems for commercial, municipal, healthcare, industrial, and institutional facilities.
• Lead power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low voltage designs.
• Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, one line diagrams, and detailed drawings.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and project teams.
• Conduct construction administration including site visits and technical reviews.
• Perform QA/QC to maintain technical excellence.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide technical decisions.
• Interact with clients and present solutions.
• Support integrated delivery across disciplines.

A growing A/E firm with deep regional reach is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead building systems design for projects across New England.

This role is built for a licensed PE who wants technical leadership, variety in project types, and a collaborative culture focused on professional growth.

You will design and deliver electrical systems for commercial, municipal, healthcare, industrial, and institutional facilities, and play a key role throughout project delivery.
