Job summary

MEP Building Systems in Boston / MetroWest seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead building systems design for commercial, municipal, healthcare, industrial, and institutional facilities. The role targets a licensed PE who will drive technical leadership and cross-disciplinary collaboration within a growth-focused culture.

You will design and deliver electrical systems, mentor junior engineers, and coordinate with architects and project teams throughout project delivery.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering
• PE license
• Eight+ years of electrical building systems design experience
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and engineering tools

Responsibilities

• Lead power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low voltage systems design
• Prepare load calculations, equipment sizing, one-line diagrams, and detailed drawings
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and project teams
• Perform construction administration including site visits and technical reviews
• Provide QA/QC to maintain technical excellence
• Mentor junior engineers and guide technical decisions

A growing A/E firm with deep regional reach is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead building systems design for projects across New England.

This role is built for a licensed PE who wants technical leadership, variety in project types, and a collaborative culture focused on professional growth.

You will design and deliver electrical systems for commercial, municipal, healthcare, industrial, and institutional facilities, and play a key role throughout project delivery.

What you will lead
