An established industrial manufacturer in the clean energy sector is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its product engineering team. The company operates in a niche segment of the energy transition space and builds high-volume hardware used in critical infrastructure projects across the U.S. and internationally.

About the Role

You’ll be part of a small cross‑functional engineering group responsible for the design, validation, and support of power distribution systems. These systems integrate with energy hardware deployed in utility‑scale environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and validate low- and medium-voltage AC and DC systems
• Review and release schematics, wiring diagrams, and harness drawings
• Run load calculations and arc‑flash/coordination studies
• Write integration and testing procedures
• Support product cost estimation and quoting processes
• Lead technical reviews and mentor less experienced engineers
• Make design changes based on lab testing and field feedback

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 3+ years experience in electrical system design for industrial or energy applications
• Strong understanding of UL, NEC, NFPA 70E, CSA, and IEEE standards
• Background in renewable energy, energy storage, or adjacent fields
• Familiarity with tools like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Altium (or similar ECAD), and Office 365
• Experience with both single-phase and three-phase AC systems, as well as DC circuits
• Ability to independently troubleshoot and improve product designs

Preferred Skills

• AutoCAD or similar CAD platforms
• SolidWorks for mechanical/electrical integration
• Altium / PADS / P‑CAD or other schematic capture tools
• Excel-based calculations and/or power analysis software
