Job summary

Cps4jobs is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to design power distribution, lighting and grounding systems for industrial facilities. The role supports EPC projects across multiple industries and requires occasional travel to project sites.

The position involves developing layouts, specifying materials, supervising installations, and providing on-site commissioning and startup support while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Design power system facilities and equipment while coordinating the construction, operation, and maintenance of electric power generating, receiving, and distribution stations.
• Develop conceptual layouts and sketches to optimize design efficiency on a project-by-project basis.
• Participate in planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating the detailed phases of electrical engineering projects.
• Establish equipment specifications, construction guidelines, and contractor scope of work documentation.
• Direct the preparation of detailed drawings and specify materials for construction and equipment installation.
• Inspect completed installations to ensure strict conformance with design specifications, equipment standards, and safety regulations.
• Deliver technical work products, including one-line diagrams, wiring drawings, panel layouts, motor schematics, instrument loop sheets, conduit/tray routing drawings, and contractor scope documents.
• System and equipment grounding requirements, including high-resistance, building, and isolated grounding systems.
• Provide on-site commissioning and startup support.

This role requires occasional travel to project and construction sites.
