Responsibilities

• Design power system facilities and equipment while coordinating the construction, operation, and maintenance of electric power generating, receiving, and distribution stations.
• Develop conceptual layouts and sketches to optimize design efficiency on a project-by-project basis.
• Participate in planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating the detailed phases of electrical engineering projects.
• Establish equipment specifications, construction guidelines, and contractor scope of work documentation.
• Direct the preparation of detailed drawings and specify materials for construction and equipment installation.
• Inspect completed installations to ensure strict conformance with design specifications, equipment standards, and safety regulations.
• Deliver technical work products, including one-line diagrams, wiring drawings, panel layouts, motor schematics, instrument loop sheets, conduit/tray routing drawings, and contractor scope documents.
• System and equipment grounding requirements, including high-resistance, building, and isolated grounding systems.
• Provide on-site commissioning and startup support.

Job description

The successful candidate will leverage extensive technical expertise to execute complex industrial projects, focusing on the design of power distribution, lighting, and grounding systems. Projects range from minor facility modifications to comprehensive EPC contracts for industrial processes across multiple industries. This role requires occasional travel to project and construction sites.
