NSG - Real Estate & Construction (Noor Staffing Group) seeks an Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and test electronic systems for oil and gas environments. • 5+ years of professional experience in electrical or embedded systems design.
• Hands-on proficiency with Altium Designer, including schematic capture, PCB layout, and library management
• Strong C++ programming skills in an embedded or real-time environment
• Experience with microcontrollers (ARM Cortex-M or similar) and common interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, RS-485, Modbus)
• Solid grasp of analog and digital circuit design, power supply design, and signal integrity
• Proficiency with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, spectrum analyzers)

Responsibilities

• Design schematics and multi-layer PCB layouts in Altium Designer for sensors, data acquisition, power, and control systems
• Develop, debug, and maintain embedded firmware in C++ for microcontroller and embedded Linux platforms
• Select components, manage BOMs, and work with vendors and contract manufacturers on prototypes and production builds
• Perform circuit analysis, simulation, and validation, including bench testing, thermal, vibration, and environmental testing
• Design for hazardous and harsh environments (high temperature, shock/vibration, intrinsic safety, explosive atmospheres)
• Troubleshoot hardware and firmware issues, including root cause analysis of field failures
• Write and maintain design documentation, test procedures, and engineering change orders
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and field operations teams to deliver reliable, manufacturable products
• Support certification and compliance efforts (e.g., ATEX, IECEx, UL/CSA, API standards as applicable)

• Knowledge of wireless and telemetry technologies (LoRa, Bluetooth, mud pulse, wired pipe, etc.)
• Experience with EMI/EMC design and pre-compliance testing
• Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD, and Agile development
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or EIT certification
