Responsibilities

• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, such as mechanical and civil, to ensure seamless integration of electrical and automation systems.
• Monitor and diagnose issues with automated systems, including PLCs, RTUs, and HMIs.
• Interface with electrical utilities for billing and service contracts.
• Maintain documentation for electrical and automated systems, including control narratives, drawings, P&IDs, and cable schedules.
• Develop automation and electrical design specifications for various facilities based on industry standards.
• Design and oversee installation of electrical and control systems.
• Review vendor proposals and recommend suitable electrical and control equipment.
• Coordinate power system studies to ensure safe operation.
