Job summary

Software Placement Group is seeking a mid‑level Electrical Engineer in the Cambridge area. The role involves designing electrical systems for labs, schools, universities, and commercial/institutional buildings, collaborating with architects, civil engineers, and building systems engineers within project teams.

You will design power, lighting, and fire alarm systems, create drawings and calculations, and coordinate with utilities and contractors through construction.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in electrical engineering.

• Experience with Revit in design and documentation.

The firm's work spans higher education, K-12, life sciences, technology, government, and workplace projects, and this role will contribute electrical design expertise across a variety of lab, school, university, and commercial/institutional building projects.
