Senior Electrical Engineer

McCrone, Inc. is a professional engineering firm specializing in Industrial Design and Construction Management. We are seeking a motivated Senior Electrical Engineer with design, project management, and construction experience to join our Annapolis office. This individual will serve as a lead engineer in the electrical group, working closely with clients and process engineers. We are looking for long-term applicants who are responsible and knowledgeable in electrical design and construction.

The candidate will manage electrical staff, oversee quality control, project management, and review design and construction documents. Additionally, they will assist with process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and instrumentation & control implementation.

Responsibilities during design and construction include:

1. Facility conduit and wiring design
2. Schematic and logic development
3. Implementation of the National Electric Code
4. AutoCAD knowledge
5. Review of facility construction documents and shop drawings
6. Facility testing and startup

Qualifications:

• Minimum 6 years of experience in industrial electrical design, preferably in water and wastewater applications
• Professional Engineer license in Maryland or the ability to obtain one
