Northrop Grumman is seeking a Senior Electrical / Electro-Mechanical engineering technician – level 3 or 4 at its Elkton, Maryland location to support multiple programs. The role involves test setups, diagnostics, and collaboration with engineers to execute and validate testing on electronic systems and propulsion components.

Qualifications

• Four years of related experience or a combination of related experience and related education.
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic theory and its application to design, development, testing and maintenance.
• Experience with test equipment and data acquisition systems; reading schematics and engineering drawings.
• Ability to set up and install test arrangements using directions and drawings.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical test equipment; soldering skills.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and document discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture, configure and execute testing operations; troubleshoot equipment and test setups.
• Assist engineers and technicians with projects, build or procure test equipment, and perform testing.
• Set up test equipment, collect data, and document results in prescribed formats.
• Generate reports and drawings; support CAD and LabVIEW tasks.
• Maintain equipment and perform routine calculations in MS Office/Excel.
