Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Test Technician for the Life Cycle Sustainment Organization in Elkridge, MD. You will conduct analysis, install, calibrate, and maintain electronic communication equipment at various sites, and support field operations.

Ideal candidates bring experience with electronic and computer principles, network administration, and a hands-on approach to testing and troubleshooting complex systems across environments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 4 years of electronic/technical experience or an Associate’s Degree with 2 years in the field.
• Experience with computers, test applications, PC maintenance, networks, and TCP/IP or similar protocols.
• Experience with electronics principles, schematics, and LRUs/SRUs wiring/testing.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, valid driver's license, and ability to obtain Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze product implementations and modifications per customer specs.
• Install, calibrate, and maintain electronic equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in field and remote settings.
• Prepare and update technical publications and procedures.
• Plan and construct experimental devices and test equipment.
• Provide status reports and participate in quoting new work.
