Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited vocational trade school; two years of journey-level experience.
• Advancement possible to higher level with proficiency and performance.
• Valid Nevada driver’s license and ability to maintain insurability.

Responsibilities

• Test, troubleshoot, and calibrate a variety of electrical and electronic systems and devices.
• Repair and replace defective parts in motors, generators, switchboards, and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and upgrades to plant electrical systems and controls.
• Design, install, and modify motor control equipment and related circuitry.
• Read blueprints and wiring diagrams and coordinate with other sections to plan work.
