Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Elkton, Maryland seeks a Senior Electrical / Electro‑Mechanical engineering technician (level 3 or 4) to support multiple programs. You will test, configure, and troubleshoot electronic systems, rocket motors, and controls, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to execute test setups and data collection.

Responsibilities include building test equipment, interpreting drawings, and generating reports.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of related experience for Level 3 or six years for Level 4, with knowledge of electrical/electronic theory.
• Experience reading schematics and using test equipment for diagnostics and testing.
• Ability to fabricate/test harnesses and work from engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers and technicians in building and validating test setups.
• Set up, configure, and operate test equipment and software; document results.
• Perform tests, collect data, and perform basic calculations in Excel or similar tools.
• Generate reports and drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, schematics) to support analysis.
• Utilize CAD and drafting tools to prepare test arrangements and wiring harnesses.
