Burns & McDonnell in Denver, CO is seeking a Senior Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls (EIC) Engineer to lead the design and execution of electrical and I&C packages across Oil & Gas and Utility projects. This is a hands-on, design-focused role with opportunities to advance to higher leadership and client engagement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program; 7 years electrical engineering experience.
EPC project experience preferred; PE license preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication; ability to lead large projects.

Responsibilities

Lead development of complete electrical design packages, including diagrams, layouts, and conduit routing.
Oversee I&C design packages: instrument lists, loop/ladder diagrams, and P&IDs.
Mentor junior engineers and review technical work for quality and consistency.
Support FAT/SAT, field integration, and vendor interactions across projects.
