Job summary

E2 Consulting Engineers, LP in Pasadena seeks a Senior Drafter to support a major electric utility client. You will develop and modify drawings using AutoCAD or MicroStation, including one-lines, sketches, wiring, and layout drawings.

Role requires 5+ years in a design environment, strong detail orientation, BOM experience, and collaboration with engineers. Hybrid work options in a professional office setting are available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a consulting engineering/design role.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation; proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong timekeeping and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Create 2D/3D drawings including one-lines, three-lines, schematics, wiring diagrams, layouts, and details.
• Prepare BOMs and specifications; update drawings per engineering changes.
• Check drawings for accuracy; assist with document management and project folder organization.
• Support field-referenced as-builts and client submissions as needed.
• Communicate project information effectively to the design team.
