Job summary

The Haskell Company is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in distribution design to lead a growing utility engineering team. This hands-on leadership role focuses on delivering OH and UG distribution projects and mentoring engineers and designers to ensure high-quality outcomes.

You will drive design across urban, rural, and industrial environments, enforce safety and reliability standards, and coordinate with project managers to maintain scope, schedule, and budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 8+ years of experience in electrical distribution design (OH/UG).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required or in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of electrical distribution projects (OH, UG, URD).
• Develop construction work packages using AutoCAD, DDS, GIS, SAP, MicroStation, PoleForeman, SpidaCalc, O-Calc.
• Perform calculations: pole loading, guying, voltage drop, conductor sizing, protective device coordination.
