Job summary

Henderson Engineers in Houston seeks a Designer III to design basic to advanced building systems, prepare design documents, and perform engineering calculations in coordination with project teams. You may mentor junior designers and support project management tasks.

As part of a collaborative team, you will develop layouts, review drawings for conformance, and contribute to client communications. Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam Revu, and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• FE exam is preferred for this role.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam Revu and familiarity with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Design basic to advanced building systems and prepare design documents.
• Mentor less experienced designers and assist project management.
• Coordinate with project teams and review plans for conformance to standards.
• Support business development and maintain client communications.
• Stay updated on industry standards and Henderson guidelines.
