Job summary

Kahuna USA LLC in Broomfield, CO, seeks a Senior Designer II, Electrical to lead complex electrical design for midstream oil and gas projects, developing electrical, instrument and control drawings and mentoring junior designers.

You will work with engineers, clients and other design teams, applying NEC knowledge, 3D modeling, and Kahuna tools to deliver compliant, efficient designs on time.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of progressive design experience or equivalent
• Proficient in electrical design for midstream projects
• Knowledge of NEC code and electrical theory

Responsibilities

• Lead complex electrical, instrument and control drawings for projects
• Mentor and review drawings of less-experienced designers
• Perform advanced 3D modeling using Kahuna tools
• Coordinate with engineers, designers, and clients to deliver designs
• Develop group standards and templates with basic scripting knowledge
• Prepare drawings for delivery maintaining security and confidentiality
