Job summary

Kahuna USA LLC in Broomfield, CO is seeking a Lead Designer, Electrical, to independently lead advanced electrical design for complex midstream oil and gas projects. You will design electrical, instrument and control drawings and report to the Manager, Electrical Designer.

Qualified candidates typically have 10–15 years of progressive design experience (8+ minimum), strong 3D modeling skills, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Navisworks, Bluebeam Revu, Excel and other company software.

Qualifications

• Self-starter with initiative and ability to manage others.
• 8+ years CAD/drafting experience; 10–15 years preferred.
• Knowledge of NEC code and electrical theory.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex electrical, instrument and control drawings.
• Lead electrical design portions of large projects and mentor team.
• Coordinate with other design teams and clients.
• Prepare drawings for delivery with security and confidentiality.
