Job summary

Kahuna USA LLC in Broomfield, CO is seeking a Designer I to perform basic electrical design for midstream oil and gas projects under supervision. The role focuses on electrical, instrument and control drawings, using Kahuna pre-developed tools, with guidance from experienced designers and engineers.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (community college drafting/CAD courses preferred), strong computer skills including AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu and Excel, and the ability to work as part of

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and community college drafting/CAD courses preferred.
• Broad computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD®, Bluebeam Revu.

Responsibilities

• Annotate and layout moderate electrical, instrument and control drawings with Kahuna tools under guidance.
• Assist with and review drawings of other drafters and markups to represent a functional design.
• Do complex 2D modeling using Kahuna tools under direction from experienced designers.
• Understand electrical theory and SOPs and follow established procedures.
• Communicate project details via emails and documentation.
