Job summary

EGS, Inc. is seeking experienced Electrical Designers to support large-scale commercial and DOE projects in Lenexa, KS and Oak Ridge, TN. These roles require 2D drafting using AutoCAD and/or MicroStation in a multi-discipline environment.

These are long-term contract positions for 3 to 4 years with top competitive rates and benefits. For exceptional candidates willing to relocate, limited per diem is available. Must be US Citizen and capable of obtaining DOE Q access at nuclear sites.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of electrical design experience.
• Commercial nuclear and/or DOE project experience.
• Experience with Smart Plant 3D for modeling electrical equipment and circuit routing.
• Experience with Smart Plant Instrumentation for data entry and circuit writing.
• Ability to obtain DOE Q clearance or unescorted access at commercial nuclear sites.

Responsibilities

• Support electrical design activities in a multi-discipline environment using AutoCAD and/or MicroStation for 2D drafting.
• Contribute to large-scale commercial and DOE projects.
• Collaborate on complex design tasks and ensure deliverables meet project requirements.
• Work on long-term contracts with potential relocation per diem for exceptional candidates.
