Purpose

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Designer to join our team. Your core responsibility will be to provide detailed electrical design drawings and support the project team from a technical perspective.

Responsibilities

1. Work scheduling and project planning.
2. Preparation of engineering drawings and documentation.
3. Respond to technical queries.
4. Interpretation and interfacing of third-party design documents into project design.
5. Training and supervision of junior staff members.
6. Check drawings and documentation for purpose and conformity with the project execution plan.
7. Check materials purchased and equipment for conformity with specifications.
8. Liaise with suppliers, clients, consultants, or commissioning engineers concerning design, installation, or construction.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience with AutoCAD 18 or newer and Navisworks, including familiarity with blocks, XREF, and 3D modeling.
• Knowledge of ANSI dimensioning standards.
• Experience with CADWorx Plant and P&ID is a plus.
• Attention to detail and ability to self-check modifications.
• Self-starter with willingness to grow in the role.
• Knowledge of NEC standards is a plus.
