Job summary

Dover Corporation's Dover Imaging & Identification division seeks a Sr. Electrical Engineering Design Technician to test, rework, and debug boards and systems for new laser engraving and inkjet printing products.

You will build test setups, validate electronics, and collaborate with a multinational engineering team in Salem, NH. The role requires an associate’s degree and 10+ years of professional experience, plus hands-on PCB work, data acquisition, and schematic reading.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree and 10+ years of professional experience.
• Experience reworking PCBs, solder to add or remove components.
• Experience with at least one data acquisition system.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
• Debug under the guidance of an Engineer.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• MS Office tools.
• Altium designer is a plus.
• 3D mechanical CAD experience is a plus.
• Programming of motor drives is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Debug and design validation of board and system level electronic designs.
• Design validation testing focusing on electronics.
• Test mechanical, electrical, and optical components and subsystems.
• Document experimental conditions and test results clearly.
• Build prototypes and test fixtures; interface with vendors for parts.
• Inspect incoming parts; manage lab equipment and calibration.
• Collaborate with team to ensure safe, productive work environment.
• Design and verify cables.
