Qualifications

• Minimum: an associate’s degree and 10+ years of professional experience.
• Experience reworking PCBs and soldering to add or remove components.
• Experience with at least one data acquisition system and using lab equipment (Oscilloscope, DVM, Function generator).

Responsibilities

• Debug and design validation of board and system level electronic designs
• Design validation testing with major focus on electronics
• Conduct testing of mechanical, electrical, and optical components, subsystems and systems
• Document experimental conditions and test results
• Build prototypes and test fixtures; interface with external vendors for complex parts
• Inspect incoming parts
• Manage lab and lab equipment, including calibration
• Interact with the technical team to maintain a safe, productive work environment
• Design and verify cables
