You will support global product development, ensuring quality requirements across the product lifecycle, and work cross-functionally with engineering, R&D, manufacturing, and sourcing. The role emphasizes quality tools, risk management, and design transfer, with a strong focus on reliable, compliant product development and seamless collaboration across functions.

Qualifikationen

• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline with 5+ years in quality engineering, design assurance, NPD.
• Experience with electronic design, power and embedded systems, firmware-hardware interactions, and controls in complex product development environments.
• Strong knowledge of quality tools/methodologies including design quality plans, control plans, DFMEA, PFMEA, hazard analysis, FRACAs, CAPA, and statistics.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specs, and technical requirements to evaluate electrical design robustness and failure modes.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and communication skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.

Aufgaben

• Serve as quality and electrical systems SME on cross-functional NPD teams, ensuring quality requirements are integrated.
• Support design control and phase-gate/NPD processes from concept to commercialization, including design quality planning and validation activities.
• Lead and support risk management efforts including DFMEA, PFMEA, hazard analysis, FRACAs, and mitigation tracking.
• Develop and implement verification and validation techniques ensuring CTQ requirements with traceability.
• Partner with Manufacturing and Supplier Quality for design transfer, production readiness, and change control.
• Apply statistical methods and disciplined problem solving to monitor development quality metrics.
