Job summary

Enercon Engineering is seeking a highly motivated electrical engineer to join our team as the technical face on projects, designing low and medium voltage switchgear and controls to meet client specifications. You will interpret client write-ups, produce detailed designs, BOMs, schematics, and work with purchasing to specify parts while ensuring compliance with NFPA, NEC, and UL codes.

Qualifications

• BSEE or related field preferred
• Minimum 5 years of electrical power and controls experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Interpret project write-ups, customer specifications, drawings, and correspondence
• Develop detailed electrical designs for LV/MV switchgear and controls
• Create BOMs and electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and one-line diagrams
• Coordinate with purchasing and suppliers to specify components
• Ensure designs comply with NFPA, NEC, and UL codes
