Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer (1–3 years) to design and evaluate power systems for power-generation facilities.

You will work with multiple disciplines, manage project constraints, and produce engineering documents for nuclear-grade projects. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, strong communication skills, and a willingness to travel to client sites.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's in electrical engineering from an accredited university.
  • Available to start within 1–3 months.
  • Strong verbal and written communication for collaboration and documenting design specs.
  • Knowledge of industry standards; willingness to prototype and test; ability to create design documents.
  • Proficient in Word and Excel.
  • Able to work independently as an individual contributor and in teams.
  • Must be able to climb stairs and ladders at client sites and navigate client sites for walk-downs.
  • Willingness to travel for client/company projects and meetings.
  • For federal contract roles, only U.S. citizens will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and design power systems at power-generating facilities.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure integrated solutions.
  • Manage budget, scope, schedule, and quality with minimal guidance.
  • Prepare error-free engineering documents following codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry codes, safety culture, and design techniques for nuclear industry.
  • Produce high-quality engineering deliverables aligned with QA programs.
  • Build strong client relationships through professional interactions and clear communication.
  • Travel to plant sites to interface with client personnel and perform walk-downs.
